While traveling in Spain, I had a lot of time to reflect on where I’ve been and where I’m ready to go. I love being by the water to collect my thoughts, be still, and mostly to take in all the beauty that this world has to offer. As I look off into the Mediterranean, I find myself increasingly more present, more alive, and like from my endless view of the water around me, possibility and purpose seem limitless.

As I was helping a client find a dress for a night out, she was really concerned about her remaining baby weight. Never mind the fact that she looked great just a month after having a baby, says “If I was skinny like you this dress would be perfect.” I told her that spanx was my best friend, not because I was worried about my weight, but there is nothing like a smooth, finished look. That’s exactly was spanx creates. She looked at me is disbelief, so YES I showed her my spanx. We’re both women, and most of us wear them right? However there is a secret, and I tell you this to save yourself some embarrassment. Never Ever let your significant other see you put them on or take them off. It’s something most men just don’t understand.
While 2012 has come and gone, we’ve all sat back about a week before Jan 31 to decide what we are going to do different in the next year. I would have to say that 2012 was great for me, personally and professionally. I didn’t quite follow a list, or tweak any of my previous resolutions. I just new that 2012 had to be better than 2011, and I believe that 2013 seems to have much more potential. My first five wishes for better in 2013…

When I look at a person I usually notice their teeth, then their hands, followed by their shoes. These things usually tell you alot about a person. Well manicured hands are the one focal point that is the easiest to maintain. You just have to remember that chipped nail polish will never be in fashion! If you cant keep up with a manicure wear clear polish, but if you do, PLEASE always make sure that your nails a clean. People are looking.
